This week third grade started learning about the skeletal system! Today, we created models showing what makes up our bones. Students worked to cover “bone marrow” in spongy bone (straws) and then wrap it in compact bone (paper). We’re so excited to add what we learned about the muscular system to our working model next week!

We are collecting the following: water canned foods blankets batteries/lights/solar plates/napkins/plasticware baby wipes/formula/diapers Deadline for these supplies is Friday, October 18.
