I graduated from Greensboro College in 1995 with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in psychology.  In 2009, I graduated from North Carolina A&T with a Graduate degree in Reading Certification K-12.  

I have been teaching for 25 years.  I have taught at New Market for 16 years.  I have taught second and third grade for most of my career.  I have also taught several combinations including a 2/3 a couple of times and a 3/4.  

I have two children; my daughter is a freshman in college  and my son is in 10th grade. I enjoy watching them both run cross country and track.  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling and watching college basketball.....GO DUKE!
