Ms. Scarberry worked as a teacher assistant before returning to school to finish her teaching degree.  She graduated from Salem College with a focus in Elementary Education as well as Special Education. 

Together, her and her fiance have four grown children; Sheree, Alexa, Sterling, and Jaylen.  They share their home with their two dogs, two birds, and a pet tarantula.

Ms. Scarberry is originally from Florida, where her family still resides.  She travels down often to visit loved ones or to go see the Buccaneers play.  In her spare time she enjoys hiking, reading, and game nights with family and friends.
